Catalog description

This course is an introduction to probability and statistical inference in an interdisciplinary setting. Liit theorems, sampling, hypothesis-testing, regression is also explored. Non-parametric methods. Enough theory is presented to introduce the intellectual foundations of statistical method, but the main emphasis is on applications in the natural sciences.
