Catalog description

This course introduces course participants to the foundations of finance principles, that is, the time value of money and valuation concepts. Course participants are introduced to the valuation of annuities, fixed-income securities and equity securities. The development of skills in respect of the analyses of financial statements with a view to decision making on assets in which to invest constitutes a significant component of the course. FIN320 is a required course for all Business students.
