Catalog description

This course introduces programming skills and algorithms for data science through Python programming language. The course is designed for students who have learned a programming language before but want to apply programming skills to data sciences. The course introduced Python programming language and packages used for data science applications such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn. Students will learn how to import data from databases, web, or files, how to preprocess data, how to analyze data, and how to visualize data.
