Catalog description

This course is the laboratory component of NURS 112: Nursing Foundations, which includes student practice and successful performance of a variety of fundamental nursing skills. These skills include: patient assessment and vital signs, infection prevention, basic patient care and hygiene, intake and output, urinary catheter and nasogastric tube insertion, communication techniques, and medication administration. Students are expected to comply with the Uniform Standards and behave in a professional manner.
