Catalog description

This course advances student understanding of the principles involved in handling and training horses utilizing behavior modification procedures that emphasize communication through knowledge, skills, and respect for the horse. This course includes equine training behavior patterns on the ground and in the saddle, as well as innovative horse training techniques, equine training problems and general solutions.
