Catalog description

An interdisciplinary introduction to the university experience, with emphasis on essential skills such as goal setting, time management, note taking, test taking, studying, writing, and researching. Through self-assessment, discussion, and critical thinking activities, this course will help students improve academic skills to support transition into the university culture, become active learners, develop self-confidence, and make healthy choices–academically, personally, and professionally. Students are introduced to FSU policies, procedures, resources, and support services. This course is required for students in academic difficulty.
