Catalog description
The second half of a year-long, interdisciplinary introduction to the university experience, including university history, policies, and campus resources. This course is co-curricular and designed to help first year students adjust to the university, increase understanding of the learning process, and acquire essential academic survival skills to make healthy choices–academically, personally, and professionally. The course emphasizes reading and study skills; awareness of academic support services; use of digital student success platforms; academic and career planning; and money management.
