This course prepares students to blend statistical and computational skills to analyze data using modeling methods to make decisions and predict trends in application. The course introduces students to concepts and methods for statistical data modeling and their applications to data science. Topics include: statistical foundation, model building, statistical learning and predicative analytics, and data simulation.
