Psychiatric Nursing

Catalog description

This course introduces nursing concepts related to psychiatric/mental health. The needs of clients with mental health issues are explored. Building on the foundation of previous nursing courses and the nursing process, the student will examine client responses to stressors across the life span. A holistic review of tasks of biological-behavioral concepts in psychiatric nursing care will be addressed.
