Pediatric Nursing

Catalog description

This course explores the physiological alterations of clients with acute and chronic health care needs. Building on the foundations of previous nursing courses and the nursing process, students will examine the impact of and plan nursing care for pediatric clients experiencing acute and/or chronic alterations. Students will utilize the nursing process to examine pediatric health alterations in a holistic manner.
