Catalog description

This course is the capstone class for the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS) degree program. The primary focus of this course is on leadership in the public sector. This course will explore leadership styles, human motivations, and basic problems/issues of leadership, including decision-making, communications, and public relations. Students will explore the history, major trends and theories, and implementation and practice of leadership principles. This class replaces POLI 425. This class is required for new students beginning with the Fall 2022 catalog year and is required for current students that have not yet taken the Capstone class.
