Medical Coding for Managers II

Catalog description

This course will prepare healthcare managers to understand and improve their competence in medical coding as it relates to billing and insurance by providing an in-depth study of Current Procedural Terminology, International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD 10-CM), and third-party reimbursement. By the end of the course, the student will be prepared to sit for the state exam to become a certified medical coder.
