Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of geographic information systems (GIS) and their use in the public sector. As the course focuses on applying GIS as a tool in public administration, students will learn the needed skillset to use a GIS software to extract and present useful information for decision and public policy making from geographic data through hands-on activities. This course is cross-level listed with GEOG 525.
