Introduction to Drone and Aerial Reconnaissance

Catalog description

Students will demonstrate the ability to operate hardware and software associated with sUAS systems, to include drones, and structure from motion (SfM) imagery analysis software. Likewise, students will be prepared for the FAA part 107 sUAS license procedures and tests, as well as North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) licensing procedures. By the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate the ability to plan a sUAS field survey, as well as analyze gathered data.
