Catalog description
This course introduces the fundamental theory and common practices of software security throughout the software development life cycle. It covers analysis and design principles of building secure software, as well as implementation techniques and tools to identify and eliminate potential software security threats. It emphasizes the importance of development processes and methodologies and programming practices that lead to secure software. The course also introduces risk analysis and management and software security testing.
