Catalog description

This course introduces the foundational concepts of artificial intelligence (AI), including classical AI techniques and emerging contemporary topics. Emphasis will be placed on ethical and responsible AI development practices, with hands-on experience using Python. Topics include problem-solving with search algorithms, planning, knowledge representation, logic and inference, basic machine learning, neural networks, and principles of responsible AI such as fairness, transparency, privacy, and alignment.
