Catalog description

This course is an in-depth overview of the social structure and organizational factors leading to the development of organized crime activity. The nature, extent, costs, and structure of these crimes are introduced and discussed. This course offers an introduction to the concept of transnational organized crime and the differing world perspectives on organized crime.
