Social Media and Society

Catalog description

This course focuses on social media and their effects on society. Social media has come to be a major social force in politics and identity, as well as an area of rich research. Students will explore scholarship that focuses upon the implications of social media. Students will also examine their own social media use as citizens and media practitioners.
