Catalog description

A study of the major theories of ethics and civic engagement. A core course developed to address the problems, questions, and dilemmas arising in business. This course offers an introduction into the classical and contemporary theories of morality, ethics, and civil engagement. It places emphasis on the development of moral reasoning skills that allow for meaningful analysis. In addition, students will explore and understand how ethical theories can inform pracitice within management while drawing connections between the foundations of democracy and business society in America.
