Advanced Studio Painting, Research and Practice

Catalog description

This advanced studio course supports the continued development of individual painting practice through sustained engagement with materials, techniques, and conceptual inquiry. Students work with the instructor in critique-based settings to refine personal direction, expand visual vocabulary, and deepen understanding of contemporary painting discourse. Projects and themes vary by semester and may be tailored to individual student goals. Repeatable for up to 12 credit hours.
