Catalog description

A required beginning-level portfolio review to determine basic skill levels have been achieved to create successful designs and compositions by applying the elements of art and design, understanding how to create pictorial space, and demonstrating strong evidence of technical ability. All students, including transfer students, are required to take this course. Pass/fail.
