Catalog description

This course provides foundational training in clinical observation and introductory methods used in the practice of speech-language pathology. Students will develop essential skills in observing, analyzing, and documenting clinical practices through structured prebrief, observation and debrief sessions in both simulated and real-world settings. Emphasis is placed on guided observation of communication disorders across the lifespan, including speech, language, voice, fluency and social communication deficits.
