This course focuses on the care of adult and older patients with acute and/or complex health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention. Emphasis is placed on the nursing care of patients with alterations in body systems: respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine, renal, genitourinary, immune/hematology, sensory, integumentary, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, and reproductive.
