Catalog description

This course is designed to equip nursing students with the essential skills and knowledge required for accurate dosage calculation using the dimensional analysis method. The basis for structuring biomedical terminology is presented with applicable definitions and practice in the use of the vocabulary. Students will develop proficiency in converting between units of measurement, understanding medication orders, calculating dosages, and verifying dosage accuracy. Offered every fall and spring.
