Catalog description
This course is designed to enhance the foundation of paralegal competencies developed in the student’s introductory and elective course work. Through study of advanced legal specialty subjects, students will gain additional experience and skill in critical analysis of legal issues, locating and evaluating appropriate legal authority, and the application of such authority to the resolution of hypothetical factual situations. The student will also consider advanced legal writing strategies applicable to successful litigation and appellate practice. Usually offered every semester.
