Technology in the Classroom

Catalog description

An introduction to computers for education majors. Pre-candidates will complete the course with an understanding of educational technology and how technology impacts the lives of teachers. Lesson plans will be written and presented using technology. Students will build websites, learn how to use an electronic grade book, and produce PowerPoint presentations. This course must be completed prior to application into the Teacher Education Program.
