Catalog description

This course introduces students to the principles, practices, and tools used to transform data into clear, accurate, and meaningful visual information. Students will learn how to prepare data for visual analysis, select appropriate charts and visual formats, design dashboards, and communicate analytical findings to business audiences. Topics may include visual perception, chart selection, dashboard design, storytelling with data, data ethics, and the use of visualization software to support business decision-making. Emphasis is placed on creating professional visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights for managers and executives.
