This course offers students the experience of creating designs for area rugs and carpets for residential and commercial markets. Skills are developed for both conventional and digital design. Fiber use and manipulation as applied to hand-tufted, hand-knotted, printed, and woven qualities are explored. Prerequisite(s): TD 333 .
