This course extends the concept of designing and fabricating jewelry for production. Stone setting and the engineering of static and articulated systems for fine jewelry is covered. Alloying metal and patination are explored and used as invaluable aesthetic enhancements for fine jewelry. Prerequisite(s): JD 272 Corequisite(s): JD 240 .
