Covers the design approaches and special methods used in the manufacture of jewelry from common industrial materials, such as plastics, rubber, and stainless steel. Students design and produce prototypes for a small collection. Prerequisite(s): all second-semester Jewelry Design courses "Co-requisite(s): JD 213, JD 214 , JD 216, and JD 251 or approval of chairperson".
