Catalog description

Building on Japanese III, students refine their communication skills in Japanese. More advanced supplementary reading materials (including poetry, short stories, and magazine and newspaper articles), films, and videos further the students' knowledge of Japanese culture. All new grammatical, syntactical and phonetic skills covered in course lectures will be further developed in a multimedia environment. Prerequisite(s): JA 213 or equivalent.
