Catalog description

This course offers students a field trip to a key country of a regional trade agreement to experience international trade's impact on consumers, the fashion industries, and governments of foreign markets. Participants learn to conduct international field research, source international contacts, and develop safe travel skills. Students' findings are summarized in a written case study. An application must be submitted in the prior semester for a student to be considered for the course. Approximately four weeks in January or June. Prerequisite(s): IN 312 or approval of chairperson.
