In today’s global economy, many U.S. companies engage in sourcing to remain competitive. In this course, students will learn the process of how and where goods and components are timely and cost-effectively manufactured while in compliance with quality control standards and U.S. regulations. The historical evolution of textile sourcing, current trends, practices, and case studies will be introduced and explored. Prerequisite(s): IN 323 .
