Offered in Florence, this course introduces students to aspects of Italian art and culture that affect their aesthetic and pragmatic points of view as artists. Emphasizes the relationship among the concepts, materials, and techniques used by the masters, and its relevance to today's artist. Approximately five weeks in June/July. Prerequisite(s): two semesters of History of Art and Civilization courses.
