Catalog description

This course covers writing from the earliest cuneiform and hieroglyphic writing systems to the mass production of writing and texts in the modern era and the digital revolution in type and text. Students learn how and why writing developed across a variety of cultures. Prerequisite(s): HA 112 and qualification for Presidential Scholars program or 3.5 GPA with approval of dean for Liberal Arts.
