Catalog description

This course introduces students to technologies used to conserve, restore, and examine works of art, and to basics in the development, science, and ethics of art conservation. Students learn how technologies are used in critical analysis in art historical study, and about the history, challenges, and practices of conservation. Prerequisite(s): HA 111 or HA 112 or HA 115 .
