Catalog description

This course examines business and labor conditions in which artists and designers have created their work and pursued professional development from 1800 to the present. Historical examples demonstrate how artistic production relates to other forms of labor and how art works and skills are valued at different times and places. Prerequisite(s): Any HA course and qualification for the Presidential Scholars Program, or 3.5 GPA and permission of Dean of Liberal Arts.
