Students examine travelers’ accounts—the narrative, pictorial, and photographic records of travel on which art historians and archaeologists rely heavily—from ancient, medieval and modern cultures as a way to examine and reconstruct visual cultures. Prerequisite(s): Qualification for the Presidential Scholars Program.
