Slide lectures concentrating on Western fashion cover the ancient eras to the 20th century, emphasizing silhouettes, fabrics, garment details, construction, and accessories. Design projects for a variety of current markets are created with historic inspiration from the periods and cultures explored in the slide lectures, utilizing research from the library, museum, internet, and other sources. Prerequisite(s): FF 112 or FF 113 .
