— Sculpture: Casting as a Creative Medium

Catalog description

Mold-making and casting as methods of reproduction, a way to transfer work into other materials, and a medium of sculptural expression are studied. Students research the use of traditional and nontraditional materials and produce finished works of art using the methods of mold-making and casting. A commercial casting operation is observed. Prerequisite(s): FA 361 .
