Catalog description

This course examines Asian-American literary and historical works by immigrant and U.S.-born authors (1800s to the present). Students examine the role of important socio-political events shaping Asian-American literature, history, and culture in terms of racial difference, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and class. Prerequisite(s): EN 131 or equivalent.
