Catalog description

By reading and responding to poetry from a range of social and historical contexts, students discover how poetry helps us understand, develop, repair, and sustain human community. Activities include close reading, critical writing, and a creative project proposing ways that poetry can be used in the service of social justice. Prerequisite(s): EN 131 or equivalent.
