A survey of U.S. history and literature through the lens of working women’s lives and experiences. Students learn the contexts of women's struggle—as well as their contributions—in shaping America as they fought for social and economic justice. Class and racial differences along with political, social, cultural, and technological changes will be examined. Prerequisite(s): EN 131 or equivalent.
