Catalog description

Through readings from major authors and literary movements, students will examine the values and contradictions within American heritage, and its ideals and mythologies. Works from a diverse group of authors will be read and discussed for what they reflect and reveal about the evolving American experience and character. Prerequisite(s): EN 131 or equivalent.
