Catalog description

The Visual and Performing Arts internship program is designed to combine hands-on experience in areas related to VPA’s majors and minors (Art History & Visual Culture; Film, Television and Media Arts; Music; Theatre; Studio Art; Graphic Design) with academic instruction. Interns work 10 to 15 hours a week at their internship site, under the direction of an on-site supervisor. Interns critically examine their internship experience in light of their major or minor during the internship workshops and through the related course assignments.
