6th Year Certificate Advanced Research Capstone

TSLA 6950 6th Year Advanced Research Capstone is the first in a two-course sequence. Students identify a practical problem in TESOL/Bilingual k-12 classroom teaching and design a research proposal to address that problem. In TSLA 6951 6th Year Advanced Research Practicum, they will implement the proposal, collect and analyze data, discuss findings, and write the final research paper. Because TSLA 6951 requires the implementation of the action research project, it is recommended that students have access to a k-12 research population.
