Translation Theory and Practice: Spanish and English

Catalog description

This course offers an introduction to the field of Translation Studies, both from theoretical and practical perspectives. Great emphasis will be placed on the translation process through continuous practice inside and outside of the classroom. Likewise, metalanguage and key concepts from translation theory will be progressively introduced through readings to facilitate the critical reflection and discussion of translation problems and solutions. The course will be taught in Spanish.
