Catalog description

This course builds on the experience of Introduction to Painting through practice and exploration of materials, and discovery of subject matter. Further investigation of color in relationship to paint handling is emphasized. Individual direction is developed in consultation with the instructor. Individual and group critiques support students toward individuality of expression.
