This course is an introduction to the methods, techniques and language of watercolor. In exploring the fundamentals of watercolor this course guides students to develop their abilities to closely examine what they see, and explore color through transparency and layering of washes. Value, composition, color temperature, transparency, and wet into wet processes are explored. This course is designed to be open and accessible to all students.
