Teaching Practica in Public Health

Catalog description
This course provides doctoral students in public health the opportunity to develop and enhance their teaching skills through guided practice under the mentorship of a faculty member. Students will engage in curriculum design, lecture preparation, instructional delivery, and assessment development for undergraduate or graduate-level courses. Throughout the practicum, students will receive feedback on their teaching methods, classroom management, and student engagement techniques. The course emphasizes reflective practice, pedagogical strategies, and the adaptation of content to diverse learning styles and educational settings.
